Exciting news out of the Division of Early Learning. DEL provided The Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando with additional funding to reimburse School Readiness (SR) and/or Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) contracted providers for curriculum and implementation related training components purchased beginning March 29, 2023.
Eligible providers who agree to participate and are interested can email r.atkinson@elcph.org to request an application for prior approval. Funding is limited and once expended will no longer be available. The application is designed to inform a provider of the requirements of participation in the Curriculum Expansion Project and Implementation Study. Provider agrees to the following items to participate in the project:
– Complete the project surveys* within 15 days of receipt
– Participate in project interviews*
– Identify Point of Contact information to the researcher(s)
– Provide documentation of purchase (receipt, invoice) for reimbursement
– Submit certificates of completed training
*The surveys and interviews will involve questions related to curriculum implementation (training, processes, daily schedules, etc.) and may include provider and teacher demographic information. Providers will not be required to provide child level information or personally identifiable information.
Curricula materials must be on the SR or VPK Providers on Probation approved curricula list, as applicable. Curricula selection should consider the available, established, and research‐based training opportunities offered by the publishers and/or training partners.
If interested, please complete the application, and submit it within Talent at https://phelc.talentlms.com. Applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis until the funds have been fully expended or until December 15, 2023.
