Spring Hill, FL (June 3, 2024). The Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando County (ELCPH) is excited to present a book bundle partnership opportunity where local businesses can help provide a collection of preschool-aged books to our School Readiness (SR) children in Hernando County. The School Readiness (SR) program offers financial assistance to eligible lowincome families for early education and care so they can become financially self-sufficient, and their young children can be successful in school in the future. Local childcare providers will help identify these families who need additional support for early literacy and may not have access
to quality children’s books at home.
Children with strong literacy skills are more likely to become proficient readers in early elementary school, paving the way for a brighter future. At the ELCPH, we believe in creating a supportive community for children to be successful in school and life. Because every child
deserves a quality education from day one. Let us invest in our children’s literacy today for a successful tomorrow!
On Wednesday, June 26, the ELCPH will host a table at the chamber membership meeting featuring our family resources with a book basket for the donation of new preschool-aged children’s books. We also accept donations by cash, check or PayPal on our donation page.
Support a book bundle with us! Strong reading abilities set children up for success! For more information, please contact Sherri Sabadishin at s.sabadishin@elcph.org at 727-233-8291.
