We’re excited to share that as of this week, ELC Pasco-Hernando has launched a new partnership with Tandem to help child care programs stay reliably staffed and supported throughout the year.
Through this partnership, your center now has fee-free access to Tandem, a staffing platform that connects you with vetted, state-compliant substitute teachers who can fill planned and last-minute staffing gaps. You pay only the substitute’s hourly wage — Tandem’s service fee is fully covered by ELC Pasco-Hernando.
What This Partnership Provides:
• A dedicated substitute pool serving Pasco & Hernando County with full fee coverage (providers pay only worker wages)
• On-demand coverage for call-outs, vacations, breaks, and staffing gaps
• Quarterly workforce & staffing best-practice training sessions
• Unlimited professional development access through Show and Tell Me More for your team
• Permanent hiring pathway after 120 onsite hours

Tandem is available to all contracted School Readiness and VPK providers in Pasco and Hernando counties, excluding out-of-county providers and school district-operated sites.
