The School Readiness (SR) program offers financial assistance to eligible families in need of affordable quality child care for children, age birth – 12 years old. School Readiness funds pay a portion of child care costs based on the family’s income and risk factors. Each School Readiness program provides a developmental screening for children and referrals to specific health and educational specialists, if needed.
”Without School Readiness, I wouldn't be able to work due to not being able to afford childcare. School Readiness has not only helped but saved my family from extreme hardship due to being a single mother. My family and I wouldn't have anything that we have now if it wasn't for the School Readiness program. Besides financially making it possible for me to work full time, my children are thriving in a preschool environment and receiving quality early education that is crucial to their development. I am beyond thankful for this program.
