Hudson, FL – The Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties (ELCPH) is delighted to announce that April 2025 marks their 20th Anniversary milestone reflecting two decades of commitment, growth, and unwavering dedication to early childhood education in our community.

From expanding access to thousands of children in Pasco and Hernando Counties to high-quality early learning programs such as School Readiness and Florida Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK), to supporting year-round professional development opportunities for early childhood educators through the Promise Institute, ELCPH has made significant strides in the early childhood education sector. In addition, we empower families by offering free educational courses, including parent workshops, through the START Initiative’s Circle of Security program.

Currently, the ELCPH is contracted with more than 300 childcare programs, and we remain dedicated to providing training resources for early childhood professionals, ensuring they have the tools and support they need to succeed. “It is truly incredible to look back on the growth we have experienced in both of our counties over the past 20 years. We are deeply committed to delivering exceptional service to the families we serve and to our valued childcare provider partners,” Executive Director, Steve Knobl, Ph.D.

Throughout the next 12 months, the Coalition will celebrate milestones and accomplishments. We will also share messages from staff, board members, providers, families, and community partners! At the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties, we believe in creating a supportive community for children to be successful in school and life. Because every child deserves a quality education from day one. “This ELPCH 20th anniversary is not just a celebration of the past—it is a launching point for the future. Thank you to our community partners all for believing in the importance of early childhood education and for being a part of this journey,” Board Chair, Bimal Bhojani.
